On 19th January, I am going to give a talk on experimental reproducibility (invited by) in Universitat Pompeu Fabra as part of the research seminars given in the Department of Information and Communication Technologies. The talk will take place in 30 June 2015 at 15:30 in Room 55.410 of the Communication Campus of UPF.
I am invited by Darrell Conklin to give a talk about “Symbolic analysis of Ottoman-Turkish makam music” in Department of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU (Donostia – San Sebastián, Spain). The talk will take place in 30 June 2015.
On 11 June 2014, we – as the CompMusic team – will give a seminar called “Ses teknolojisinde Türk Müziği’ne özgü tasarımlar” (Culture specific approaches in music technology: Turkish music case) in Istanbul Technical University State Conservatory. The seminar will showcase the technologies developed within the CompMusic Project to study Ottoman-Turkish makam music. In the seminar, I am going to present the audio-score alignment methodology I have been developing for Ottoman-Turkish makam music.
